Poor Kerning... it is everywhere! I see it everywhere and I just want to physically push the letters apart or pull them together. The example I am using is from my Dance studio. I love my studio with all my heart but our logo is really horrible... I know someone probably just made it in word and used the curve tool that does not accurately kern. In "Academy" the A, C, A, D, all need to be pushed apart and in "Dance" the C, E, need to be pushed apart. Then "Coopersburg" the B, U, should be pushed apart a little bit.
Why don’t you re-design it and post your work on here? I noticed that it’s all centred as well — it doesn’t necessarily have to be just because it’s a logo. Also there’s a lot of info in the logo as it is. Maybe it’d be better to design two things; a logo and a sign. The logo could then be much more simple.
